Rihanna: Sean Garrett to help on latest CD

Rihanna's "Rated R" was critically acclaimed amongst peers, but not by fans. She has often said that this was her truest album of expression---an outlet of feelings never beforehand told.

For her 5th album, however, Rihanna decided to give back to the fans and has sought out acclaimed producer Sean Garrett for a new, some say better, sound for fans to cling to.

Of her new work, Garrett said this to Rap-Up (via JustJared.com): I got a record on Rihanna’s new album. She’s got some surprises. The record I gave her was very, very positive, very big. It’s a f–king smash. I gave her a humongous radio record. It’s just so infectious. It’s about getting past any drama and just being happy to be alive. It’s an encouraging record. It feels great and it’s got great tempo. I made sure that it was bulletproof. It should be a single unless something crazy happens. It’s hot as f–k. I think it’s a record that’s gonna stay on the radio for a long time.

The Grammy-winner is preparing for the European leg of her "Rated R" tour, which is to extend to the U.S. this summer!
