Sarah Palin takes to Reality TV

Not only is the former Alaskan governor and VP-nominee, Sarah Palin, gracing American audiences via Fox News, but she will also star in an "eight-part documentary series" on TLC (said via JustJared, March 25).

The series is to be based on the life and career of the now pop-culture phenom and will be hosted via Discovery Communications.

It is reported that Palin and her family will receive $1 million an episode for "compensation." Chief Operating Officer of Discovery, Peter Liguori, said this of Palin and its new franchise: Discovery Communications is so excited to help Sarah Palin tell the story of Alaska, and to have a great documentary filmmaker in Mark Burnett helping to reveal Alaska’s powerful beauty as it has never been filmed, and as told by one of the state’s proudest daughters.

There is no date yet scheduled for the series' premiere.
