Actor Corey Haim dies at 38

Corey Haim, star of '80s films such as "The Lost Boys" and "Lucas," and whom worked several times with fellow actor Cory Feldman, died of a drug overdose Wednesday in Los Angeles (said via JustJared and People.com, March 10).

According to friends and fans, Haim had suffered from drug problems throughout his career and was not able to kick the habit.

The actor was 38 years old.

UPDATE: According to Haim's mother, Judy, the actor died of pulmonary congestion, meaning that his heart was enlarged and that water filled his lungs (said via People.com and Access Hollywood, March 11).

This information was obtained from a coroner, whom will conduct a full autopsy within the next few weeks.
