'Avengers: Infinity War': Marvel Studios releases new poster, pushes up release date (photo)

UPDATE: It has since been revealed that Marvel Studios pushed up the release date because Robert Downey Jr. (who plays Iron Man) asked it to via friendly Twitter banter. Either way, I think it's awesome for fans who have been waiting 10 years to see the film to see it a week earlier than promised.

Original Post

I'm not sure why the release date was pushed up from May 4 to April 27, but I'm guessing Disney/Marvel Studios wanted to get a jump on summer sales - especially with "Solo: A Star Wars Story" coming out a month later (why have two films from the same property compete against each other, right?).

"Avengers: Infinity War" hits theaters Friday, April 27.

'Beauty and the Beast': Live-action film, starring Emma Watson, releases first teaser trailer (video)

I have to say that when I first heard that "Beauty and the Beast" was being turned into a live-action film, I became a bit nervous. "Beauty and the Beast" is one of my favorite Disney movies and, as we know, with a lot of reinterpretations, things can go wrong.

But, when Emma Watson was cast as Belle and slew of other stellar actors were named in the film too—including Dan Stevens as the Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts (voice actor), Josh Gad as LeFou, Ewan McGregor as Lumière (voice actor), and Ian McKellen as Cogsworth (voice actor), according to E! Online—I felt a bit better about the situation. And now that the teaser trailer is out, I'm getting a bit excited about it too.

"Beauty and the Beast"—the live-action version—hits theaters March 17, 2017.

In case you - (and by "you," I mean fans of the franchise because at this point, who isn't one) - may have forgotten, the Mockingjay movement began when Katniss Everdeen volunteered to take her sister's place in the 74th Hunger Games competition. And, as we all know, their lives, and the world around them, have changed quite a bit since then.

'Batman v Superman' official teaser trailer released after leak (video)

It looks like hackers have ruined the fun...again.

From the trailer, it looks like Batman and Superman have a few things to get off of their chests, as well as the rest of people voicing their opinions about them.
