Amanda Bynes announces retirement from acting via Twitter

Actress Amanda Bynes retires...at age 24.

The former teen icon declared via Twitter earlier today (June 19) that she wishes to pursue other endeavors, and is currently loathing a career she once loved.

Here's what she had to say:

I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of; I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've #retired.

JustJared claims that Bynes' next film is Easy A, costarring actress Emma Stone (SuperbadZombieland). What ventures she will partake in next is unknown.

Side Note: Bynes tweeted hours before her sudden announcement that I like black men I'm very attracted to them, just fyi. To clarify matters, Bynes has always been one to challenge today's society via Twitter.
