The anxiously-awaited photograph of Katy Perry's engagement ring hit the Internet on January 9 as Perry and her new fiancé Russell Brand returned to his London home from a trip to India.
Brand proposed to Perry on New Year's Eve at the foot of an Indian mountain.** Perry reacted to the engagement via Twitter a few hours later, expressing her excitement, and additionally said to Brand, "I love you @rustyrockets [Russell Brand] (awwwww…barf)."**
Details of the wedding have yet to be announced.
