Lil Wayne lent Chris Brown a helping hand, by asking him to fill Drake's spot on his record-setting tour, "America's Most Wanted." On August 2nd in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Chris Brown sang Drake's verse in "Every Girl," after Drake was forced to leave the tour on July 31st (he re-injured his knee at the Camden, NJ, performance).
This was Brown's first live performance since assaulting Rihanna in February. Brown gave a tribute to Michael Jackson, to the background of "Billie Jean," and was even knighted "the new Michael" by head-liner Lil Wayne.**
When asked about Chris Brown's performance, Lil Wayne responded (via email to MTV News), "U kno I had to show him sum luv."**
