Judge Patricia Schnegg wants to make sure that Chris Brown serves the sentence she intended. Due to lack of response from Virginia officials, whom would finalize the resources for Brown's sentencing, the hearing scheduled for August 5 has been pushed back to August 27. Judge Schnegg previously ruled that Brown would perform labor, not just community service, in addition to weekly counseling and 5 years probation.
The defintion of "community labor service" varies from state to state, and although some officials in Virginia guarantee that Brown's service would be labor, Schnegg will not proceed with sentencing until word from Virginia is received.**
