Finally some good news for Jessica Simpson, relationship-wise!
According to Neon Limelight (by way of Us Weekly), the songstress/entrepreneur may be engaged to beau and former NFL player Eric Johnson. This announcement comes a week to the day after ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to former MTV Veejay Vanessa Minnillo.
SIDE NOTE!: Can we declare that this was due to jealously and/or a rivalry? I'm not sure, but I'm happy for both couples, especially Jessica. I mean, I think everyone can agree that she's had it rough in that department.
Nonetheless, congratulations are in order for both couples. I'm sure both weddings will be fabulous!
UPDATE!: It has been confirmed by People Magazine that Jessica and Eric are officially engaged. Congrats to the lucky pair!
