Rihanna to release "Only Girl" single, album soon to follow

Miss Rihanna Fenty is known for producing back-to-back albums and after the slow success of Rated R, the songstress is ready to release a new dance record from her fifth untitled studio album.

Def Pen Radio reports that the first single from the new record is titled Only Girl. "Looks like no more dark music," says one of the site's sources. "Back to Umbrella Rihanna."

Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna's third studio album, is her most successful album to date, selling more than 2.5 million copies in the U.S., says Billboard, and over 7 million copies worldwide, says IFPI. Its lead single, Umbrella, was a massive pop hit and earned Rihanna her first Grammy award.

A date has not been set for either Only Girl or the album's release, but each's progress shall send Rihanna fans into a frenzy. No single and/or album from the starlet has yet to achieve the heights that Umbrella and GGGB received. Rude Boy may have paralleled (in singles), but Umbrella soared. According to Bu Thiam, Vice President of Def Jam, Rihanna's next album is said to be the next Thriller.

Rihanna is next to continue her Last Girl On Earth tour in Australia.
