Nine years have passed since we lost Aaliyah Dana Haughton in that fatal plane crash leaving The Bahamas. Fellow artists, family, friends and fans have poured out their condolences to the life that was taken far too soon. Her inspiration was recently felt on Drake's Unforgettable, a track that needs no introduction to the songstress' beautiful voice.
Aaliyah's presence is forever missed in the music industry and in life. No has yet or will ever take her place.
May she always rest in peace.
