I'm starting to get a little...urked...that not only has this "tragedy" been turned into a song, but is now climbing the charts on iTunes (currently No. 35) and is being covered by college marching bands? The band, above, is the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Marching Band. I'm sure if they thought the idea was funny or would be a hit, but it obviously went into works because someone put the music together....
I hope the money he (he, being Antoine) makes from this project is going back to the community because if I was the victim, this is the last thing I would want to come out of this. That, and it makes people from Huntsville, AL, look..."uneducated" (I was told that's a better term to use than "ghetto").
On a higher note, I'm glad some light did come out of this. I mean, the perpetrator obviously isn't coming back. He's a nationwide gimmick now. In the words of Antoine Dodson: We got your t-shirt...you [have] left fingerprints and all. You are so dumb. You are really dumb, for real.
...What can I say? My hands are tied.
