Irreconcilable differences are said to have caused the separation of former The Hills couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt last May. The same is true of their divorce, of which Montag filed Friday before the Santa Monica Superior Court (said via People, July 30).
Blogosphere participants, fans and fellow Hills stars, themselves, were doubting the genuineness of such separation, claiming that the announcement, like Montag's ten recent plastic surgeries, was "for show."
Denouncing such claims, Pratt recently said this to People Magazine: "We love each other but I'm a fame whore and I'll never grow out of it. [Heidi] knows that and doesn't want that."
Details of the Montag/Pratt divorce have yet to be disclosed.
