Report: Stay-away order between Chris Brown & Rihanna has been lifted

About two weeks ago, Rihanna and her lawyer approved of Chris Brown's request for removal of the stay-away order between the former couple. As of yesterday, however, Chris was informed that the request was made official during a court hearing in Los Angeles.

The order has been dropped to a level one, meaning that Chris can have full contact with Rihanna, as long as he does not "annoy, molest or harass her." The former order stated that Chris must remain 50 yards away from her at all times, excluding musical events, of which it was reduced to 10 yards.

The original order was placed after the now infamous 2009 physical altercation between Chris and Rihanna. The two were leaving a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles via Chris' vehicle when a verbal dispute turned physical. Chris reportedly bit and hit Rihanna until she became unconscious and left the scene before police arrived.

Chris' sentencing included community service in his home state of Virginia and domestic violence classes.
