Though the official ceremony does not air until February 13 (CBS), the 2011 Grammy Awards were announced tonight with a string of surprises!
Fan favorites like Eminem, Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga each received nods--Eminem with an astounding 10, and latterly mentioned with 6 each--yet newcomer Bruno Mars received a whopping 7, including nods with B.o.B. for Nothin' On You, Cee-Lo Green for F*ck You (of which he co-wrote) and for his solo debut Just The Way You Are. Partner B.o.B. received a graceful 5 nominations.

In an overwhelming return to the music industry following his 2009 physical altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown received 3 nominations, including nods with Tank for Take My Time, and Tyga and Kevin McCall for the smash hit of the summer, Deuces.
Rihanna received 5 nominations, four with Eminem for Love The Way You Lie and one for Only Girl (In The World). Best friend Katy Perry received 4 nominations, including two for Teenage Dream (the single) and one with Snoop Dogg for California Gurls.
