After snippets of the new single leaked numerous times over the weekend, Lady Gaga posted a message on her Facebook account Monday morning (Aug. 12) stating that "Applause" would debut on American radio within minutes.

Katy Perry and Lady Gaga tweet each other, respond to 'Roar' and 'Applause' leaks (tweets included)
With the angst building around Katy Perry and Lady Gaga's long-awaited releases, it seems as though the blogosphere was about to burst, taking sides on which diva's song would come out on top. However, when both new singles--Katy Perry's "Roar" and Lady Gaga's "Applause"--leaked yesterday (Aug. 10), the divas decided to come together instead of butting heads.

In each of the four teasers that were released in the past week, it was said that Katy Perry's new single "Roar" was scheduled to debut on Monday, Aug. 12. However, the single has apparently leaked early and is now available for fans' listening pleasure on the blogosphere.

Beyoncé debuts new 'do on Instagram (photos)
SIDE NOTE: Is there anything that needs to be said? The woman looks gorgeous!
Beyoncé debuted her new hairdo late Wednesday night on Instagram, causing a huge sting in the blogosphere. The new 'do comes at the end of the North American leg of the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which resumes in Fortaleza, Ceará in Brazil on Sept. 8.
