Chris Brown's 'Theraflu' remix sparks controversy, starts feud w/ Rihanna

Just when everyone thought that the feud between Chris Brown and Rihanna was "kaput, finished," rumors of it reigniting surfaced after a remix of Kanye West's "Theraflu" (now titled "Way Too Cold") featuring Brown hit the blogosphere Wednesday. Take a listen to the remix below:

At around the 1:15-mark, Brown says, "Don't f*ck with my old b*tch, it's like a bad fur//Every industry n*gga done had her//Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her...." Though Brown did not mention the person's name or whom he was referring to, Rihanna, one of Brown's most famous ex-girlfriends, posted this tweet in response Thursday: "Aw, poor dat [expletive]." According to That Grape Juice, Rihanna then blocked Brown on Twitter and he reciprocated.

In response to Rihanna's tweet and her blockage of him, Brown tweeted this: "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about." Rihanna did not post a response to Brown's latest tweet and neither star has made further comment about the situation.

Three months prior, Brown and Rihanna released a joint remix of Rihanna's song "Birthday Cake" from her latest album Talk That Talk to the dismay of many fans and critics alike. The collaboration surfaced three years after Brown physically abused Rihanna in a vehicle while on their way home from a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles, for which he later turned himself into authorities and completed court-granted duties. The two were rumored to have become friends surrounding the remix's release, but there is no official word as to whether this latest incident has halted their "friendship."
