Lindsay Lohan sobs at court sentencing

Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90-days in jail Tuesday for violating her probation on numerous accounts, including not attending required alcohol-education classes. The actress was placed on probation last year for a DUI and was warned by Judge Marsha Revel in October that if any more violations were to occur that she would face jail time.

Lohan (24) reportedly sobbed in Judge Revel's Beverly Hills court and pleaded: "I did everything I was told to do, I thought I was being compliant. I'm not taking this as a joke, it's my life and career. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms." Her father, Michael, and younger sister, Ali (16), were also present in court.

The troubled star is due to surrender on July 20 and must follow her jail sentence with a 3-month rehab stint. She will not be allowed to consume alcohol until her probation ceases in August 2011.

According to USAToday, Lohan was also sending another message. In an exclusive photo, the star can be seen wiping tears from her eyes with flower-painted fingernails and the words "Fuck U" written on her left middle finger. Whether the design was intentional for that day's hearing remains a questionable factor.
