You thought Rebecca Black's "Friday" was terrible? Is it still stuck in your head? Is its music video forever frozen in your mind?
Patrice Wilson, the same guy that wrote and produced "Friday," also wrote and produced "It's Thanksgiving" sung by Nicole Westbrook. My guess is that though "Friday" received a huge amount of negative feedback from YouTubers and listeners across the country, Wilson realized that the song was actually successful, pushing huge numbers on iTunes and landing Black on daytime interviews and in Katy Perry's music video for "Last Friday Night (TGIF)."
So yes, the song may not be brilliant, but it's catchy and its visuals are too hilarious not to watch--including Westbrook rapping towards the end and using a turkey leg as a microphone.
Only time will only whether "It's Thanksgiving" will rival the success of its "Friday" predecesor. The song is available for purchase on iTunes now.
