"Golden Girl" Rue McClanahan dies at 76
In a salute to Rue McClanahan, our spicy Golden Girl whom played Blanche Devereaux on the late '80s sitcom, I give you this hilarious portrayal of Blanche at her best.
Rue passed away Thursday morning from a massive stroke at age 76, following a bypass surgery and a minor stroke earlier this year (said via VH1 and People, June 3).
Cast-mate Betty White, 88, is the only member to survive the Golden Girls quartet--Beatrice Arthur died in 2009 of cancer and Estelle Getty died in 2008.
Let us hope that Betty will shine for years and years to come.
