The singer/song-writer/actress began singing in opera houses at a tender age and has sung in operatic performances worldwide. As peers and critics took notice, she landed roles in TV-movies, commercials, and small roles on the big screen.
Rossum got her big break in 2004, when she landed the role as Christine Daae in the big-screen debut of "The Phantom of the Opera." The actress won the National Board of Review's Best Breakthrough Performance by an Actress and a Critic's Choice Award for Best Young Actress for her portrayal of Daae.
Before her big break, Rossum played the role of a lost daughter in 2003's "Mystic River." She co-starred with Jake Gyllenhaal in 2004's "The Day After Tomorrow," starred in "Dare" in 2009, and played Bulma in 2009's "Dragonball Evolution."
With singing as her true passion, Rossum released a solo album in 2007, titled "Inside Out," which debuted with rave reviews. Sadly, the album did not last a week on the Billboard 200 charts.
The artist, nonetheless, has countless future projects, and was once hailed by Variety as "One of the Ten to Watch."
Rossum made a smart move, in the eyes of a celebrity, when she secretly wed her music-producer beau, Justin Siegel, in early 2008. The couple began divorce proceeding in Summer 2009, but have proceeded on amicable terms.
Fans, such as I, can follow Miss Rossum on Twitter: @emmyrossum, and can Subscribe to her Youtube Channel for any questions you might have: http://youtube.com/emmyrossumchannel.
Rossum is also the spokesperson of PiNKiTUDE, an organization that promotes Breast Cancer awareness.

"Whatever Happens" is a single from Jackson's final album, "Invincible," and features famed guitarist Carlos Santana. This album is truly underrated, while the song brilliantly showcases Jackson's genius.
I could not comprehend why Jackson's death was such a loss---to the music industry, and to the world---until I heard "Whatever Happens."
Please, listen without judgment and if you have not already done so, get a copy of Jackson's "Invincible," now!
May the brilliant life and talent of Michael Jackson rest in peace.
Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status are said to be the main producers on Rihanna's highly anticipated, upcoming album.
Timberlake said of the album, and the artist, that, "In my opinion, she’s got the world in the palm of her hand right now.... The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. ...It’s got some edge to it."**
Rihanna has had conversations with Timberlake and Chase & Status on what she wants for the album, what she disapproves of, and has co-written some of the work, herself.
The star was photographed in New York on September 22, while traveling to the studio. She flaunted a beautiful, short gray dress with a pair of black, above-the-knee heels, as she prepares for the follow-up of her multi-platinum, Grammy-award winning disc, "Good Girl Gone Bad."
The disc is scheduled for release between late 2009 and early 2010.

No need to explain the outfit. Lady Gaga is Lady Gaga and she can do as she damn well pleases.
By the way, she was parading around New York in disguise on Monday, September 21.
...I'm bold, but not that bold.

The two arrived separately on September 10 in Los Angeles, but made quite the controversial photo for magazines, worldwide, to fight for.

In one word: Awesome!!
I was surprised when he took on the role of King Leonidas in the battle film 300. His acting skills then became versatile, but his few films after were not blockbuster hits.
While promoting his film Gamer and wrapping up production for a film with Jennifer Aniston, Butler admitted (in an interview) that he would deny the chance of playing James Bond.
"How likely would I be accepted doing those roles [in an array of films] after having played Bond," he suggested. "People outside of movies think it would be amazing to play 007," Butler admits, "but as an actor you think, ‘Well I don’t know because from then on…."
Butler acknowledges the fame that would result from playing Bond, "but I would much rather create a role from nothing."

In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, Megan Fox stated that when it comes to her looks, "I’m completely, hysterically insecure. I’m self-loathing, introverted and neurotic.”**
Really, now? The young star with looks compared to Angelina Jolie is insecure about her looks?
Fox also admitted that she gets diarrhea whenever she appears before a live crowd.
I never thought I'd say this, but, "TMI, Megan Fox!" You're still hot, though.
